CRAFT is really a new kind of crafts magazine -- I love the in-depth articles, the appealing projects, and its amazing companion website ([...]). Issue #1 was packed with articles about the craft-glitterati, from Jenny Hart (of Sublime Stitching -- check out her books on Amazon!) to Diana Eng (you may remember her from Project Runway). Another difference between CRAFT and other crafting mags is that not only are their projects cooler, but they really delve in depth into what it means to craft (there's an essay-style column by Jean Railla called Modern Crafting), and they're not afraid to throw electrical components, computer parts and carpentry into the mix if the item calls for it. CRAFT is intelligent crafting for the artist in you.
