I have read this magazine since junior high school and my mother who was a model for Essence magazine first introduced me to it. I am so glad that she did. I am still reading it and when my daughter becomes old enough she will also read it. I cannot address any of the other reivewer's complaints that said they never received their order. I am only speaking about the product (magazine).
