i use to get pop sci and pop mech when i was a kid. thought i would get a sub of each from Amazon. both started arriving with in a month ... very nice. when the pop sci arrived i read it cover to cover. when the pop mech arrived i was excited and took it into my "office" for what i expected to be a nice long read. what a disappointment! full of ads .. and not even interesting products. articles were very weak. it took 3 minutes to realize i wasted my time. rolled it up and tossed it. hope that issue was just an anomaly.
